‘I can’t believe I was accepted into Ouran Academy, I’m just a commoner but I guess my academics skills surpass the normal student’ I thought to myself as I glanced at the large academy. I adjusted my glasses with a manga book in my hand, hiding my hair behind a [F/c] beanie. I entered the school going into the hall as I glanced at my schedule, “Hmm oh I have class 1-A..interesting” I made my way to my class quite easily and sat down in a desk at the far back of the room in a corner. It was a fairly clean desk still not to my standards so I took out one of the disinfectant wipes out of the small pocket of my binder.

I looked around at all the Canary colored dresses and sky blue blazers I almost gagged at the colors because I was more of a dark colors person but I guess I have a soft spot for some light colors. I looked at the agenda on the board while the other students talked. I stood up walking to the front and I guess it was a good idea because everyone in the room was talking and I could politely take my work and have my leave. I stared down at the cowering teacher and I asked for the paperwork, he handed it to me with shaking hands.

I huffed and walked back to my seat and sat down once again, I glanced over the math equations and completed them with ease. ‘Alright x to the second power subtracted by 3x plus 1’ as I began to work my mind like a human calculator, I didn’t know that the teacher was hesitantly approaching. ‘Subtracted by x to the second power plus 2x plus 7 equals’ I began to simplify to the equation. ‘ -5x – 6 ‘ I figured since it would cancel out the given answers I circled the letter C and kept on going with only 3 questions left.

“I thought only Haruhi knew how to solve that problem” the teacher said stuttering and I just shook my head and finished the other problems handing him the paper. He read over the paper and his eyes widened “These are all correct” he said with a look of surprise on his face. ‘Of course their correct I checked over them’ I thought to myself. I clicked my tongue gathering my things before looking at him signaling a goodbye before taking my leave.

“I heard there was a library around here somewhere” I continued walking until I ran into someone making them drop their books. I quickly began to gather them and put them into a neat, symmetrical stack. “I’m so sorry my dear..” I looked up into doe like eyes of an obvious girl her eyes had a shine to them made them look like chocolate stars. “No need to apologize I’m Haruhi Fujioka” she told me holding out her hand which I gratefully took. “I’m terribly sorry, Ms.Fujioka” I said running off before she could ask another question.

----Haruhi’s Pov----

“Who is he, I think he was pretty short but I guess he is one of the quiet one’s but then again I never seen him around here before” I talked to myself before those twins came up to me. “Hey Haruhi-Chan-“ I heard Kaoru say and Hikaru finished his sentence “Is that your boyfriend?” he asked and the both of them looked at me I shook my head and blushed at the thought slightly. “She’s blushing Hikaru” said Kaoru and I rolled my eyes and turned to look at them “Come on the Host Club is about to start” I say and began to walk as they both stood by my side walking down the hall to Music Room 3.

----[Y/n]’s Pov----

‘I didn’t realize how noisy a Library here could be’ I thought to myself as I made my way outside to the Cherry Blossom Garden only to be met with 7 males dressed in brightly colored Kimono’s. I looked at them with a bored expression watching the blonde, tall one waltz over to me, he stared down at my figure all I could do was look back at him. I shook my head before turning on my heel before that crossdressing girl spoke.

“Hey aren’t you the one I ran into this morning?” she asked me and I nodded with my back facing her. I felt a hand placed on my shoulder I couldn’t help but move away and bow slightly. I saw Haruhi a bit too close for comfort and I backed away she smiled at me and petted my beanie covered head. “It’s rude not to speak my dear boy” I heard the blonde say in a mocking tone and I looked at him adjusting my glasses with a scary glint that tinted the frame.

He shrunk back in fear and those twins began to laugh, I grunted softly before bowing to Haruhi and I took my leave but as soon as I walked out of that Garden I was trampled by girls rushing over to see them. Growling as I walked away, “Is it so hard to find a place to study at?” I whispered quietly running off to find a quiet place. It felt like I was walking for hours before I found an abandoned music room, I sighed happily walking inside to see that no one was here.

I looked over at the Music instruments seeing a wide variety I could play but I preferred the Piano and Guitar just the way the instruments were made just felt right to me. Forgetting all about studying I picked up the mahogany colored guitar taking a seat on the wine red chair. I strummed the strings as they vibrated clashing with the empty room filling it with the sounds of perfect harmony the way I strummed the guitar the way I felt when I hit the correct chords. It actually made me feel content.

I heard the door open and I put the guitar on the side of the chair taking out my textbooks opening to page 29 which was advanced Algebra. I looked up only to see those idiots once more and I mentally facepalmed myself. “Hey it’s shorty!” I heard one of the twins say and I sweat dropped and turned towards them as I stood up I didn’t help but realize they were racing towards me. It was too late for me to get out the way they landed on top of me and I crashed into the guitar and it smashed into the ground.

I felt my heart stopped here I lay with two identical looking miscreants on top of me and a broken guitar, “Aww that was 600 million yen” I heard the one with the slightly higher pitched voice whine and I felt my eyes widen. ‘600 million for a guitar?’ I asked myself and I bowed my head and sighed sadly I knew I couldn’t pay them back. Haruhi walked over to me and got on one knee kneeling beside me, “If you can’t pay them back you can join the host club” she said and I stared at her confused but then I realized the idiots probably were the host club although I knew nothing about it I just shrugged and nodded.

She did that smile again but the thing was I couldn’t return it so I just blinked awkwardly until I felt her arms wrap around me and I was embarrassed because I felt all eyes on us but I kept the same uninterested looking expression. I hesitantly began to hug her back, this was the beginning of a new friendship little did I know what life had in store for me today.
